Walking Mountains Science Center and the Eagle County Climate Action Collaborative, which includes local governments, businesses, schools, special districts, and charities, are organizing Climate Action Week for the third year in a row. The purpose of a series of 13 events from Monday, April 15 to Earth Day on Monday, April 22 is to inspire climate action while also introducing the community to one another and groups working to address the county’s climate action goals.
This year’s Climate Action Week will feature EthnoBotany and green home tours, sustainability films and trivia, outdoor leisure activities, riparian planting, yoga, Spanish events, and much more. Most activities are free to attend, but registration is required.
