The state of Georgia is known for having the busiest airport in the world, being the birthplace of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., Vidalia onions, and Stone Mountain Park. Georgia is the eighth most populous state in the United States. Every day, 1,720 drivers are involved in a vehicular accident.
The statistic even says that every Georgia citizen will be involved in one car accident every ten years. Most of these accidents involve a passenger car – accidents that involve passenger vehicles are around 370,000 in this state alone. Even though, a news article shows that deaths from traffic accidents went down by 11 percent in September 2018. It has been the largest decrease in a decade.
The rates were down months after the Hands-free driving law was enacted. However, if you ever find yourself to be in a situation of an accident, there are few things you can do to ensure that you and your family will have less to worry, as can be seen in this infographic from The Brown Firm.
